TLD

TLD (Top-Level Domain) refers to the last segment of the domain name, such as .com, .org, or .net. It’s the highest level in the hierarchical Domain Name System of the Internet after the root domain. It’s similar to the postal code in an address that helps categorize and direct mail more efficiently.
